The following position is available in the Centre for Digitalization at Worms University of Applied Sciences at the earliest possible date: Project Engineer Software (m/f/d) - Reference number 2025-10-ZD - Full-time (39 hours/week) - permanent - EG 10 TV-L Your tasks Conception and implementation of cross-university digitization projects as part of the digitization strategy Implementation of customer requirements in needs-based software solutions Ensuring a smooth project process and change management for the software solutions used Ensuring the long-term operation of the services after the pilot phase in cooperation with the university computer center Support as an interface function between internal and external stakeholders of the services Your profile Completed studies in the field of computer science, business informatics or comparable qualification Experience in one or more relevant high-level software development languages, preferably Python and knowledge of database systems Experience in DevOps (Git, CI/CD, IaC) and full-stack projects Good knowledge of the administration, configuration, operation and maintenance of software solutions Knowledge of project management for planning, implementing and monitoring digitalization projects Independent, structured, analytical and solution-oriented way of working High social competence and ability to work in a team as well as strong customer/service-oriented behavior Good knowledge of German and English (B2 level) We offer A friendly, professional and cooperative working atmosphere in a motivated team An attractive working environment with flexible working hours and location as well as modern equipment Support for your professional and personal development An attractive university location with good transport links, free parking and a daycare center for children An annual bonus, company pension scheme and capital-forming benefits Are you interested?
