Software Engineer for Visualisation Research (f/m/x) The job The Department of Environmental Informatics is looking for a scientist specialising in visualisation research and data processing. Unity requires C# and ParaView requires Python, so being experienced in these languages would be advantageous. But we are confident that you can learn either if you are already familiar with another language. If you have experience with any of the following we’d like to hear about it, but all of these are very much secondary and not required for you to apply: Experience with the evaluation of visualisation methods, UI and UX design Geographic Information Systems (e. g. ArcGis, QGIS, etc.) or the structure of geoscientific file formats Software to create geological models (e. g. GOCAD, Leapfrog, GMS, etc.), Meshing software, ideally open-source software (e. g.
